To be honest, this day was spent walking around, admiring the humongous shopping centers which would put our very own ones to shame. They had shopping malls up to 10 stories high, which is something unheard of here, since the highest known one is around 6 or 7? And it wasn’t even filled with shops unlike those in Guangzhou.

We learned to take buses to get around, and the buses were impressive, because they had functioning televisions installed inside. And every time the bus had to make a turn around a corner, the driver would push a button, and an automated voice would come out asking the passengers to hold on tight. I have to admit, we were amused, a little impressed, because we never came across anything like this, or rather, no one would bother about such things like this.

Then there was this city square, filled with stalls and stalls of food. I don’t quite remember the name, but I do remember the food. We helped ourselves to generous amount of food which was ‘in’ and ‘hip’, things like the takoyaki from Japan and other friend finger food. It was such gluttony, because after that we had a meal at KFC, and amused ourselves by asking the cashier for more chili sauce, much to his amusement and confusion.
