26072012 Karaoke in Narita

Last day of training came so fast! For some reasons, it felt like the previous training was way longer than this round? Don’t think I would get sick of coming to Japan again and again for training! Headed out early to the classroom as usual but it was locked today, so we hung around the local convenience store, buying some snacks and drinks before heading back when our teacher was already in.

Since it was the last day of training, and when we were all done, took group pictures along with our teacher who was pretty sporting about it. The next thing we did was to celebrate it the Japanese way, going for karaoke! The Bangkok staff and me were planning to head there and were discussing about it, and the Los Angeles staff decided to join us. Took the train from the building back to Narita city, then switched to a taxi who got us there.

The driver dropped us off at Siddax, and we had a great time at the karaoke. It has been such a long time since I got to sing so much! The Bangkok staff was dancing all the way throughout our songs. Ordered some fries, a yakisoba, and had 2 beers each with a free flow of drinks, which is the best part of Japanese karaoke. Plus, the drink choices were varied, so had a great time trying out the different sodas, to hot chocolates and soup, and even the traditional green tea. All in, our bill came to only around 709yen each as the Los Angeles staff paid for our food.

Ended my second round of training in Narita with the awesome staffs, but I guess we all lost our voices the very next day. But it was so worth it! As they also have lots of English and Chinese songs available, this is one of the best way to experience an authentic Japanese karaoke. The only downside is their website is written in Japanese only
