Third day in Phuket, we hired a local tuk-tuk driver to bring us around to see the temples for a half-day tour which concludes at Karon beach for lunch. We went inland to this amazing temple which I can’t recall the name of.
The temple housed hundreds of Buddhists sculptures inside a large building, and once you get to the top, they had the relics claimed to be of the Buddha placed in it.
Relic or not, the view from the top floor was certainly worth the long climb.
We then went for a short drive around Phuket, on higher areas overlooking the sea which was wonderful. We then stopped at Karon for a delicious lunch, which also included this huge lobster
