15022010 Leaving Phuket

One last stroll around Phuket before we departed back home.

Well most of the buildings were rebuilt 6 years after the tsunami, most of the locals wished to forget that day. One shopkeeper we spoke too said, when the tide came, he ran and he ran for his life. He never thought that he would survive it, but he lost everything he had, and had to start all over again.

Then there was this sad look in his eyes. I couldn’t bear to press him further for details.
